Dawo Trading PLC is a coffee producing and exporting company founded in March 2021 by Mr Chimsa, who has over 8 years of experience in the coffee industry. We are based in Ethiopia, one of the world's leading coffee producing countries. Our specialty is sourcing, processing, and exporting high-quality Ethiopian coffee beans to international markets. We work closely with local farmers and cooperatives to ensure sustainable and ethically produced coffee. Our mission is to promote the rich flavors and unique characteristics of Ethiopian coffee while supporting the livelihoods of coffee growers in the region.
Coffee cherries are hand-picked when they are ripe.
The harvested cherries are washed to remove dirt and impurities.
The outer skin of the coffee cherry is removed, leaving the beans covered in mucilage.
The beans are fermented for 24-48 hours to remove the mucilage.
The beans are washed again to remove any remaining mucilage.
The dried beans are hulled to remove the parchment layer.
The beans are sorted by size and quality.
The beans are ready for Export.
Our Processing ensure only the finest beans make it into each cup.
